AN IMMIGRATION TOWN HALL

Dear New Yorker,

Please join me, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, and members of the New York City Council for a "New Yorkers for Comprehensive Immigration Reform" town hall next Wednesday, June 5th , from 12 to 2 pm at Brooklyn Borough Hall. (Invitation attached.)

This will be the last in a three-part series of town halls focused on immigration reform and the role that advocates, elected officials, clergy, and community members can play in supporting this movement both within New York State and on Capitol Hill.

We are happy to bring together diverse voices from labor, business, the LGBTQ community, legal services, and advocacy groups to discuss the different actions that we can take as New Yorkers to help make sure comprehensive immigration reform happens this year.

Please feel free to contact Sara Valenzuela at svalenzuela@council.nyc.gov or via phone at (212) 788-7011 with your RSVP. We look forward to having you join us!

Sincerely,

Christine C. Quinn

Speaker

NYC Council
