About The Faison Firehouse Theater
The Faison Firehouse Theater, is the brain child of George Faison, the first African- American Tony Award winner for his choreography of the Wiz. It is his creation along with Tad Schnugg of the American Performing Arts Collaborative, Inc., for a community based arts organization which not only brings together the artistic and business communities but also takes an active role in mentoring the youth of Harlem through its outreach the Respect Project created in 2000 with graduates from some of the leading colleges in the country.
