Invites You To Commemorate the Life of Louis Rispoli at a Street Co-Naming Ceremony In His Honor
On Saturday, July 27th at 12pm join Council Member Van Bramer, Lou's husband Danyal Lawson as well as their family and friends to honor the late Woodside resident who lost his life last October. Lou was a gay rights activist and an avid supporter of music and the arts who was brutally beaten in the same community where he lived for over 30 years. The street co-naming ceremony will take place at John Downing Square, one of Lou's favorite neighborhood spots, located at the intersection of 51st Street and 43rd Avenue in Woodside.
The are still several suspects on the loose and wanted in connection with the murder of Lou.
