
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce will host The Brooklyn Health Care Summit, a first of its kind gathering ahead of the changes to the country's health care insurance landscape, tomorrow at Brooklyn College.
The Brooklyn Health Care Summit will focus on the Affordable Care Act and how it impacts small businesses.
The Brooklyn Health Care Summit will feature a series of panel discussions and breakout sessions. The main panel - "The Affordable Health Care Act and the SHOP Exchange" - will be moderated by Chamber board member Tom Early, Executive Vice President, Managed Care, Elderplan.
Two breakout sessions - one "For Brokers Only" and a second on "Planning for the Future" - will feature discussions on how the ACA will affect those in the health care field as well as small business owners.
