BIG NEWS FOR RESHMA

Lucas --

Today, I’m honored to announce three very special endorsements from U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng, Assemblyman Ron Kim, and Councilman Peter Koo.

I’m grateful to have their support.

Congresswoman Meng, who is New York’s first Asian-American member of Congress, supports my vision of creating opportunities for all New Yorkers and empowering underserved communities throughout the city.

Like Congresswoman Meng, Assemblyman Kim and Councilman Koo both know the needs of their communities and believe in my vision to create opportunity for all New Yorkers. With them, I will fight for Queens to help small business owners get what they need from City Hall and promote quality education that prepares our kids for the jobs of tomorrow.

Our support is growing, first from the Queens County Democratic Party and its leader, Congressman Joe Crowley, Brooklyn-Queens National Organization of Women PAC, the Alliance of South Asian American Labor (ASAAL), Bronx Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, and Central Brooklyn Councilwoman Darlene Mealy.

As the next Public Advocate, I would be the first South Asian official ever elected citywide in New York.

Help me make history: volunteer for one shift to help us call voters, or donate $10 to this campaign today.

Best,

Reshma

P.S. You can join Congresswoman Meng in Queens for an event hosted by District Leader Martha Taylor, featuring special guest Congressman Joe Crowley. RSVP here to attend this event on July 10: RSVP for Event With Rep. Crowley and Rep. Meng
