Ann Druyan and other concerned citizens challenged the Village of Cayuga Height's "deer remediation plan," because they believed the data upon which the project relied was incomplete and failed to examine important adverse impacts. But both the Tompkins County Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, Third Department, didn't agree.
The judges were of the view that it wasn't their role to "second-guess thoughtful agency decision making," and that the underlying issues--such as the plan's impact on the flora and fauna--had been adequately considered.
There was no bucking that.
