In Memoriam
Robert L. Conason
As many of you are aware, Robert L. Conason, a renowned trial lawyer and a Director on NYSTLA’s Board since 1975, passed away early yesterday.
Bob was the senior partner at Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz, and a mentor and friend to a generation of trial lawyers.
Over a 52 year career, this humble and modest man became widely regarded as one of the most preeminent trial lawyers in America. Bob was passionate about helping victims of negligence and their families. He often worked well into the night to protect their rights, yet he always had time to provide advice, support, and inspiration to his colleagues. His ethics and skill earned him the respect of the entire legal profession.
NYSTLA is deeply saddened by the loss of such an esteemed colleague and friend, and our condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to his entire family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 15th at:
