One year ago, I was proud to walk onto the House floor for the State of the Union Address. I had worked so hard to get there. The next day, after casting my last vote, I resigned my seat in Congress.
Tuesday, Mark and I will both be watching the speech from the gallery as guests of two fellow Arizonans, my friend Rep. Ron Barber, and Senator
John McCain. We'll be listening to what the President has to say and are standing ready to support commonsense legislation in Congress to reduce gun violence.
