On Sunday morning, while many North Carolinians were getting ready for church, State Sen. Bob Rucho tweeted that Obamacare is worse "then (sic) the swords of the Nazis, Soviets & terrorists combined." He managed to insult the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, Stalinist purges, 9/11, Oklahoma City and thousands of other terrorist acts in a single tweet.
Remember, this comes from the same North Carolina state senator who voted to deny Medicaid coverage to 500,000 NC residents.
At the very least, Sen. Rucho needs to say he's sorry. Sign our petition today to demand that Sen, Rucho apologize for his remarks and to demand that the GOP leadership reject such over-the-top and offensive rhetoric.
Our government is broken because too many leaders seek to divide us instead of solve real problems. Sen. Rucho's comments have no other reason but to demonize supporters of Obamacare. We don't need this type of rhetoric.
Sign the petition today and make Sen. Rucho reject his divisive words.
