If it's time for the holidays then it must be time for the Subaru "Share the Love" event!
Subaru has once again made the holiday season extra special for animals by selecting the ASPCA as one of five charities to participate in its annual "Share the Love" event for the sixth year in a row. Over the years, the ASPCA's participation in the campaign has resulted in a total donation from Subaru of over $7 million.
For every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased from now until January 2, 2014, Subaru will donate $250 to the buyer's choice among five national charity partners, or a sixth local charity chosen by individual retailers.*
This year, "Share the Love" is even bigger and better: Subaru has decided to double its total charitable donation from $5 to $10 million! The ASPCA plans to award the majority of our "Share the Love" donation as grants to animal welfare organizations across the country, and we now have the potential to double our impact on animals.

Also new this year is the first-ever Subaru "Share the Love" event/ASPCA Rescue Ride! The ASPCA is allocating a portion of our "Share the Love" donation to fund life-saving animal transports. Twenty grants have been allocated for transports to take place throughout the campaign in select markets across the country. Over a thousand dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be finding homes for the holidays—thanks to Subaru!
In addition, over 140 pet adoption related events will be taking place at Subaru dealerships across the country. Find an event near you! And tweet and share your photos using the hashtag #aspcaSTL.
