NEVER FORGET

Lucas,

One year ago, the Newtown community of Connecticut experienced a loss that was felt in every heart and corner of our Nation. As we remember the Sandy Hook Elementary teachers and students who were taken too soon and respect the wishes of their families on this sorrowful anniversary, I urge us all-- especially elected officials and community leaders-- to never forget our responsibility to do everything in our power to prevent future acts of gun violence.

We must not let the conversation fade as time passes: Share your thoughts on how far our country has come since the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy.

This conversation is crucial to restarting an urgency in Congress to take action and stop obstructing the people's will to pass responsible gun safety legislation. Remember, silence doesn't bring change--action does.

In loving memory of those lost and their families,

Domenic
