Senate Democrats just went nuclear to end GOP obstruction, and that's a big deal.
This marks the second time in two months – first with the shutdown, and now over frivolous judicial and federal agency filibusters – that Democrats have united to stop Tea Party hostage-taking.
Democrats can't let up now: Please take a moment to thank President Obama and Senate Democrats for standing up against Republican hostage politics.
Never again can an extreme minority hobble entire federal agencies – like the ATF or the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau – by refusing to allow ANY nominee to lead them.
Democrats don't sabotage our government like that when we're in the minority, and now Republicans can't either. That seems pretty fair to me.
Stop Tea Party extremism – thank President Obama for standing up against Republican obstructionism.
