Colorado’s unique recall rules are going to test everything we think we know about campaigning.
The ballot asks for a simple "yes or no" on the recall itself, freeing Republicans to run the ugliest scorched-earth campaign imaginable – which they're already doing. But if voters base their choice on Democrats' entire record, we’ll win.
With only a few short weeks to campaign, and with right-wing attack ads already flying, the following twoadshave just been launched to make the Democratic case:
These critical races are going to get extremely heated by Election Day – in fact, they already are.
Winning depends on showing voters that they can't allow right-wing special interests to hijack their state. These outside groups don’t care about Colorado schools, Colorado jobs, or any of the everyday issues that make a difference in people’s lives.
Senators Morse and Giron do care, and they’ve proven it with their votes. We have until September 10th tomakethat caseto the voters.
