The New York Times endorsed Melinda's candidacy for Queens Borough President.
They said: "...Ms. Katz has a more thoughtful concept about how to work within the limits of the office to make a difference. Her priorities include an economic master plan for development in the borough — important because the borough president advises the city about such issues. She also wants a better plan for Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, where a soccer stadium is being considered. We endorse Melinda Katz".
