Thank you again to everyone who helped us reach our end of month budget deadline. I am so grateful to the many supporters who help to make sure I can continue working for all of you in the halls of Congress.
Sadly, obstruction continues to be the only item on the GOP's leadership agenda.
Before Republicans left for August recess last Friday, the last vote they brought to the floor was to repeal Obamacare for the 40th time. That's right -- 40 times. Instead of passing immigration reform, or putting job creation legislation on the House floor, Speaker John Boehner gave in to the extreme Tea Party agenda.
This is the perfect example of what we are up against. We have to roll up our sleeves and fight hard to get the job done.
Stand with me and tell the GOP Republicans to stop obstructing the progress we could be making on bills that Americans really care about.
