About Our Speaker:
Bernie Marcus is a shining example of the American Dream. Born to Russian immigrants in adverse circumstances, Bernie Marcus rose above to earn a pharmacy degree from Rutgers University and eventually became a co-founder of The Home Depot and the company’s first CEO. As a sign of gratitude for his success and to promote the economy, Mr. Marcus presented the state of georgia with the gift of a $250 million aquarium.
