Lucas,
House Republicans passed a radical, unconstitutional abortion ban in June.
The reason you might not have heard about it is because Democrats -- who hold a majority of the Senate -- have deemed it dead on arrival.
If you think the GOP War on Women is bad now, just imagine if they take control of the Senate. And the scary thing is: It could happen. Political pundits believe that Senate control could come down to just one seat in 2014.
The only sure way that we can stop the GOP from leading an even more extreme anti-woman, anti-family agenda is to reelect pro-choice Democratic women like Kay Hagan and Jeanne Shaheen -- the women holding the line for us in the Senate.
Make a contribution to help EMILY's List keep the Senate out of Republican hands.
If you want to know what a Republican Senate would mean for women, just look at what they've done so far.
Senate Republicans dragged out a vote on the Violence Against Women Act. They've filibustered the Paycheck Fairness Act. They've vowed to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which makes it easier for women to access and pay for health care.
The GOP is going to spend millions upon millions of dollars in 2014 to take control of the United States Senate. Help EMILY's List fight back by protecting the Democratic women senators who stand up for our rights -- no matter what the Republicans throw at us.
All the best,
Amy K. Dacey
