This Saturday, April 20th, Team de Blasio volunteers from all five boroughs are coming together to take real, meaningful action in support of universal early education.
We're calling it our "Every Child Deserves a Seat" Day of Action and it's going to be big.
In New York City more than 68,000 children are eligible for early education, but our current system leaves almost 50,000 children behind.
As a public school parent, Bill understands the importance of our schools beginning to invest in a child's future as soon as that child turns four. That's why he is the only person running for mayor with a plan to pay for true universal early education by asking the wealthiest to pay just a little bit more.
Lots of Team de Blasio supporters have already signed up to be a part of this Day of Action -- and more are getting involved every day.
Shifts kick off at 11 AM and 1 PM, and will begin with a brief training to make sure you have everything you need to take action.
