I'm very pleased to report that this past Friday, we went public with our most recent financial disclosure -- and in just two months, we raised more than $50,000 for my re-election campaign. Such a strong showing would not have been possible without the generosity of supporters like you, and for that, I want to say thank you. We're moving forward and gearing up for an exciting campaign season, but now it's important that we keep our momentum going.
My campaign's next big event -- and our last big event before the summer -- will be a cocktail reception at Galli Restaurant, at 45 Mercer Street in SoHo, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 21st.
You'll be hearing more from me about this event as we get closer to the date, but for now I want to make sure you save the date and ask you to consider joining the host committee for this reception.
