If there's one thing I can't stand, it's playing defense. We can't afford to sit by and let the GOP keep bankrolling extremists.
I'll give you three examples:
- Rep. John Kline in Minnesota -- who's supported letting your boss deny you healthcare and stood firmly in the way of family planning funding.
- Rep. Scott Tipton in Colorado -- who's voted to redefine rape, defund Planned Parenthood, and allow hospitals to deny abortion care, even in emergencies.
- Rep. Joe Heck in Nevada -- who's voted against protections for domestic violence, voted to end Medicare as we know it, and led the charge to allow bosses to deny their employees healthcare.
And they're just a few examples. But here at EMILY's List we're fighting back. We've put several Republicans "On Notice" for their anti-woman, anti-family records.
Our "On Notice" program is a key way we're playing offense against GOP extremism. We're actively recruiting Democratic women candidates to run for office and send these guys packing.

Republicans should have learned a lesson in 2012. But they didn't. Their attacks on women and families are only getting worse. Just look at North Dakota, Virginia, and Kansas, where women's rights are being torn to pieces.
