I am delighted that on Thursday, September 13, 2012, I won the Democratic Primary for Manhattan Surrogate's Court Judge with 60% of the votes cast, according to unofficial results reported by CBS News .Credit for that result goes to you, the hundreds of people who contributed to my campaign in so many ways, the many community leaders and political and media organizations that endorsed me, as well as the more than 26,000 voters in every part of Manhattan who took the time to consider the choice for Manhattan Surrogate's Court Judge and cast their votes in my favor.
I am touched and grateful for all of that support.
Having secured the Democratic Party nomination, we are looking forward to the general election in November.
