 Chamber Business Expo

"Celebrating Small Business"'

Thursday, September 20, 2012

Hilton New York, in the Hall of the Americas

FREE ATTENDANCE with Business Card 10:00 a.m. - 4:00pm

We are proud to announce our 20th Greater New York Business Resource Fair at the Hilton New York on September 20th. We are partnering with the New York City Hispanic Chamber, the Business and Labor Coalition of New York, and hundreds of members and vendors. At this Expo, we will honor public servants and civic organizations that have an impact on the New York Metro Area. We expect close to 2,000 attendees!

The Chamber's original Expo was created to help stimulate and educate New York's small businesses and civic leaders in their navigation of the post-9/11 economy. Working with our membership base, we have built on that foundation, and have made these Expos an ideal opportunity not only for business owners to expand their client base, but also to allow them to connect with leaders of government agencies and elected officials - from New York, Albany, Washington, and beyond.

Today we offer these same opportunities at other Expo in Brooklyn, Long Island and Westchester; ALL with the same mission of providing assistance to the more than 20,000 business and civic leaders in our network.

To kick it all off, we're hosting a Coffee Meet-and-Greet in the morning for a bit of networking before the floor opens. Later, we'll host New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio to speak at our 'Jobs' Luncheon as a special guest. De Blasio will join a long list of national, state, and city officials who have honored us by speaking at previous Expos - including State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, City Comptrollers William C. Thompson and John Liu, U.S. Congressional Representatives Gregory Meeks and Nydia Velazquez, and many more. We're also excited for our informative panels on several crucial and timely topics, listed below.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg once noted that attendees leave the Expo with a "renewed sense of purpose." We ask that you help us stay true to this tradition of entrepreneurship, by meeting with our business vendors or participating in one of our panels.
