Tommy Thompson's campaign is stooping to the lowest level, launching far right personal attacks on historic Wisconsin Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin that are divisive and crude.
A Thompson aide circulated a video that mocked Tammy for dancing at an LGBT event and implied that gay and lesbian Americans don't represent so-called "heartland values." If that weren't enough, then the aide denied that the insulting video -- released the night before Tammy's speech at the DNC -- was part of the campaign.
Look, when Tommy Thompson's campaign attacks Tammy's values, they're attacking our values. We cannot let these attacks go unanswered. With polling showing Thompson a handful of points ahead, we need to help Tammy make history as the first openly gay senator.
Contribute to Tammy Baldwin right away so we can show Tommy Thompson we will not stand for his insulting attacks on our values. We must act decisively now so we get Tammy to victory in November.
