I hate to say this, especially at this time of the year, but DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has a real problem with us.
At the Democratic National Convention earlier this month, she attacked you and me for being Jewish Republicans and now she is singling out the RJC by name and saying :
"The divisive and misleading political rhetoric being put forth by groups like the Republican Jewish Coalition is exactly the kind of noise that President Obama was referring to during his recent interview on 60 Minutes...To suggest otherwise - as groups like the Republican Jewish Coalition have done - is to directly prove the President's point: that Republicans are using election-year politics to try to turn America's support for Israel into a partisan political game. And that is simply unacceptable."
Time and time again, Rep. Wasserman Schultz stands in strong support of President Obama's failed policies over the 'noise' of concerned Americans like us.
Yes, you know the 'noise' that DWS is referring to. It is the 'noise' of almost 40,000 RJC members across the country who dare to think that a nuclear Iran would not only threaten Israel's existence but put the United States and countries around the world in grave danger.
If Debbie Wasserman Schultz does not want to hear it from the Republican Jewish Coalition, then she only has to read the recent quotes by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the UN General assembly.
We stand by our $6.5 million Jewish outreach effort which includes an aggressive issue advocacy campaign in Florida, Ohio, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
We stand by Republican values and policies that will help put Americans back to work and encourage investment in the United States.
We stand with our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel.
Make a contribution today to show that you stand with the RJC for the final 42 days of this election.
Make a contribution today to show Debbie Wasserman Schultz that she is out of touch with the real concerns of those in the Jewish community who are deeply troubled by President Obama's mistreatment of Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Make a contribution today to show President Obama that your concerns about the continuing Iranian nuclear arms program are not just 'noise.'
Thank you,
Matt Brooks
RJC Executive Director
