DA?

wedding_cake_marriage_nyreblog_com_.jpgWhen Alexander Rabinovich filed for divorce, he thought most of his money was protected by a prenuptial agreement that Oksana Shevchenko had signed prior to their marriage.

Apparently, right before the wedding, Rabinovich sprung the prenup which was written in English.

Both the Suffolk County Supreme Court, and the Appellate Division, Second Department, thought that the agreement wasn't enforceable because Shevchenko didn't fully understand what she was signing (she apparently couldn't read English at the time) and hadn't been given an opportunity to consult with an attorney.

Nyet!
