In today's challenging economic climate, paid sick leave is not a luxury -- it's essential to ensure a healthy, vibrant working class.
On Sunday morning, I spoke at First Baptist Church of Crown Heights about the importance of paid sick days ( video ) and that afternoon, Chirlane and I were at the Atlantic Antic festival encouraging people to call the City Council from the street.
