Young Adult Internship Program!
The Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) is a 14 week workforce development internship program. YAIP targets young adults who are between the ages of 16-24, who are not working and not in school. YAIP begins with a 2- to 4-week orientation, conducted by DYCD-funded community based organizations (CBOs), which is followed by a 10- to 12-week paid internship that offers structured work opportunities incorporating ongoing education, as well as additional participant and employer support.
