
Although he plead guilty to disorderly conduct, after the Bronx County Criminal Court convicted and sentenced him, Michael Box argued on appeal that the case suffered from some technical deficiencies.
But on its review of the record, the Appellate Term, First Department, didn't think there was a problem. Not only did Box park his car in front of a police vehicle, but he refused to move it, even after an officer requested that Box do so. (It didn't help the case that Box also resisted the officer's attempt to handcuff him.)
