The New York City Council is hosting Hurricane Sandy volunteer activities on Saturday, November 24th and Sunday, November 25th. If you are interested in joining, please email SandyRelief@council.nyc.gov. Activities and locations will vary from day to day, but assume that you should dress warmly, be prepared to get dirty/wet and bring a lunch with you.
First Baptist Church of Far Rockaway needs volunteers to help serve Thanksgiving meals on Thursday, November 22nd (Thanksgiving Day) at 10 a.m. The church is located at 1510 Redfern Avenue in Far Rockaway. Please note: the City Council cannot provide transportation this site, but asks that you rsvp to SandyRelief@council.nyc.gov so we can let them know who to expect.

The NYC Economic Development Corporation is looking for companies that can provide space, supplies, services, or other forms of assistance to New York City businesses that have been significantly impacted by Hurricane Sandy. If your company can help, please fill out the form here.
