My name is Josh Mandel. I am the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Ohio. If you haven't heard already, Ohio will likely determine control of the United States Senate and the White House itself. I need your help right now.
This race is a dead-heat dogfight. Our internal polling had us up 2 points 45-43 a few days ago. And another poll came out just after that showing us down 1 point 47-48.
We're in the final round of a David vs Goliath type fight. My opponent is bloodied, stumbling and up against the ropes. I am running against Barack Obama’s closest friend in the Senate, the ultra-liberal Sherrod Brown. These two are in lockstep together-- Sherrod Brown votes with Barack Obama 95% of the time.
I’ve served my country as a Marine on two tours in Iraq. I currently serve as the Treasurer of the State of Ohio.
I’m an American and a conservative before I’m a Republican. When I am in the Senate, I’ll stand up to the head of the Republican Party, the Democratic party, and the liberal media to do what’s best for the people of our country.
The Obama-Brown machine is throwing everything they've got at me here in Ohio this last week. They know Sherrod Brown is in trouble. We are so close to victory. But I need conservatives like you to help me beat back the attacks and win this race right now.
To use a term we had in the Marine Corps, my race is a “force multiplier” - every hour and dollar that is invested in my race will not only help win the Senate seat, it will help us defeat Barack Obama in Ohio too.
