TO HOST FINANCIAL EDUCATION CLINIC NOV. 17

NEW YORK, NY – City Comptroller John C. Liu with Dr. Hazel N. Dukes and the NAACP NYS Conference, in cooperation with City, State, and U.S. elected officials, are hosting an all-day Foreclosure Intervention and Financial Education Clinic on Nov. 17.
The Foreclosure Intervention Clinic will include one-on-one sessions with HUD-certified counselors to help homeowners in immediate need avoid foreclosure, as well as workshops on building credit, managing debt, and getting FEMA assistance for storm damage. There will also be information for businesses on how to obtain MWBE certification, grow revenue and manage costs.
