Dear Lucas,
Because of the problems caused by Hurricane Sandy, we have decided to move the date of NiLP's 30th Anniversary Benefit Reception to the evening of Friday, January 25, 2012. More details will be forthcoming soon.
Sometimes it is hard to believe that we have been a policy center for over three decades. If you know our history, you know that when we first started the organization back in 1982, we thought it would only last a few years given our unique and aggressive advocacy agenda. And now, thirty years later, we find ourselves still at it. Who knew?!
As we plan for this milestone anniversary, we were hoping that you could help us with something. To promote and commemorate this event, we would like to collect testimonials on the impact of our work, especially that of The NiLP Network on Latino Issues (aka, "those emails that we send out") as well as the work of NiLP in general.
How has The NiLP Network and our other work been useful to you and your community? How have you made use of the information we have shared with you over the years? Is there a particular piece of information or action by NiLP that you have found especially helpful in your efforts to better conditions in the Latino community?
We're not looking for lengthy responses to this query, but would find it most helpful if you include your full name, your affiliation or employer, and the city and state in which you reside of work.
Send your comments to info@latinopolicy.org.

Thanks in advance for your help with this little project of ours.
Un abrazo,
