The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is inviting developers to submit proposals for a new construction project in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This RFP is in accordance with the Mayor's New Housing Marketplace Plan, which responds to the housing needs of New York's communities by committing to the new construction or rehabilitation of 165,000 housing units by 2014. The proposed Project serves the Plan's critical goals of creating needed housing opportunities, maximizing affordability, and in turn, enhancing the City's community revitalization efforts.

Interested parties that choose to download the RFP must register. Only those registered will receive any updates or additional communications regarding the RFP. The RFP contains a detailed description of the development program, requirements, guidelines, eligibility requirements, selection process, and submission requirements.

A pre-submission conference will be held at HPD, 100 Gold Street, 1R, New York, NY, on June 20, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interested organizations are strongly encouraged to attend the conference. If you are planning on attending the conference, please RSVP at the email address below.
