Summer Internships and $1,000 CollegeScholarships for NYCHA Residents
NYCHA is pleased to announce the availability of applications for the NYCHA ACHIEVERS and the NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship Program. NYCHA ACHIEVERS is a paid summer internship program for 17- to 22-year-old college-enrolled and college-bound NYCHA residents. Interns work at NYCHA and with partner organizations for eight weeks and participate in professional development training.
The NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship Program annually awards multiple scholarships valued at $1,000 to eligible NYCHA residents who are enrolled in colleges of The City University of New York (CUNY).
The Regina A. Figueroa Memorial Scholarship honors the academic achievements of NYCHA residents/CUNY students with disabilities.
