New Bronx Affordable Housing Development to Include Public Housing Units
On Friday, May 4, developer Bronx Pro broke ground on the first public housing units in years to be built on privately owned land. The project at 1070 Washington Avenue in the Bronx will include 21 units of public housing for applicants on the New York City Housing Authority waiting list and 27 units of low-income housing. The building is expected to be completed in October 2013.
