MEET FRANK THOMAS

Dear Lucas,

I have not had the pleasure of meeting most (if any) of you, but my name is Frank Thomas and I will be Kathy's Campaign Manager this year. I just wanted to give you a quick update.

As we predicted and discussed, DC-based super PACs starting running negative TV ads against Kathy. May is early for this to start and heightens the urgency for us to raise the funds to fight back. This follows on the revelation that Chris Collins, our likely opponent, has a net worth is between $50 million and $125 million--which is easily going to allow him to self-finance a robust negative operation.

You should also know that Collins has already taken the gloves off, questioning kathy's integrity, calling her "dishonest," and demeaning her ability to get things done in Washington during interviews this week. We all know that that's not the case, now we need to make sure everyone else in Western New York knows the same.

As a New York City native myself, I know how much your support can change a race. As some of Kathy's most important supporters, we look to you to help us create a great campaign. We will be reaching out to you over the coming days and weeks to discuss some options for how we can grow our operation. Based on how early the attacks are starting this year Kathy needs you now more than ever.
