The weather is getting warmer which means Election Day is getting closer. From Buffalo to Brentwood, strong Democratic candidates for State Senate are knocking on doors and raising the funds needed to compete in November. Before letting you know about several exciting DSCC events we've added to the calendar, I want to thank you once again for your continued support of our efforts as we prepared to retake the Majority this Fall.
I'm very pleased to announce that U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer will join our candidates as the special guest at our 2012 Campaign Kick Off Reception in NYC on Thursday, May 31st at 6-8pm. A complete invitation with the exact location and contribution levels will follow in just a few days but in the meantime, please hold the date.
Also, we've justed locked in two of our major annual events. On Thursday, June 28th, I will be joined in Washington, D.C. by members of the NY Congressional Delegation for a reception at the Credit Union House at 5-7pm. And of course, August is just around the corner which means it's time for some golf. The 17th Annual New York Senate Dems Golf Tournament will take place at Wiltwyck Golf Club on Monday, August 6th.
