Two years ago, we worked together to clean up Albany and send a message that the people of the Northwest Bronx deserve a Senator that will fight for them and with them. With your help, I became that State Senator.
Last year, I pushed to extend the millionaire's tax and strengthen rent laws to protect tenants. I helped pass legislation that has made it mandatory for public officials to disclose all sources of their income. I worked to get an Executive Order signed into law that will ensure immigrants in New York State are able to receive translation services when accessing state services. Thanks to your work, I have relayed messages and stories from my neighbors in the Bronx directly to the Governor and had conversations that led to changes in policy.
But there's a lot more work to do in Albany and I cannot continue to serve the people of the 33rd Senate District without your help.
I couldn't have won without your hard work - the work of the hundreds of folks that knocked on doors, made calls and collected signatures two years ago. Please help me do it again.
