A Tea Party-aligned front group called the "60 Plus Association" that is bankrolled by the big drug companies and Washington special interests spent nearly $1 million to distort Debbie's record.
In order to help respond to these attacks, Dan has challenged the finance team to raise an additional $50,000 by the critical March 31st deadline.
I told him we would make sure Debbie has the resources to stand up to these attacks, but we need your help to do it.

Just last week, a Tea Party-aligned front group financed by the big drug companies and Washington special interests called "60 Plus," spent almost $1,000,000 on TV ads trying to scare Michigan's seniors.
The false, negative attacks to distort Debbie's record on Medicare have begun. And they're not going to stop. We have a critical fundraising deadline coming up, and we need to have the resources to fight back.
Independent fact checkers have already completely debunked the ad's claims, with one saying the ad "is not only inaccurate, it's ridiculous." Unfortunately, groups like this couldn't care less about the truth. All they care about is defeating one of the Senate's best champions for Medicare and Social Security.
