NEW MEXICO'S UNDERDOG?

As reviews continue to come in, the pundits can all agree on one thing: Hector wowed the crowd, beat expectations and, according to Heath Haussamen of NMpolitics.net, "proved he can't be counted out."

"The reason I'm in the United States Senate race is that too many New Mexicans today are worried about the future.  And what is tragic and what has brought me to this race is that they have lost that hope and optimism and what is great about New Mexico. The people that I'm listening to are out there struggling-- but frustrated when they see Washington tripping all over themselves to give tax breaks to the wealthy while they debate cutting military benefits for families...don't we wonder why no one has been held accountable on Wall Street? Why no one has gone to jail?"

But just like Hector said on Saturday, "there's a better way."

We need to start investing in our people and our communities.  As State Auditor, Hector has taken the fight to bad actors, arrogant governments and greedy corporations, and held them accountable--and he's ready to take that fight to Heather Wilson.
