Mentoring for Achievement
Become a mentor through NYC Service's Mentoring for Achievement Initiative.
As part of the Young Men's Initiative, 25 Cornerstone programs located in New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) community centers will include mentoring activity as part of their programs. Mentors will support youth in fifth through ninth grades during their transition from elementary to middle school and middle school to high school by cultivating positive personal relationships and community involvement.
