"Well, I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign. Everything changes. It's almost like an Etch A Sketch."
- Mitt Romney's campaign spokesman on CNN
Lucas --
They're hoping you forget.
Yesterday on CNN, Mitt Romney's spokesman said that we should all forget what Romney's been saying during the Republican Primary.
If the Republicans can erase their radical record and attack President Obama with enough SuperPAC-funded smears, we will lose in 2012.
It's up to us make sure that voters know just how extreme the Republican Party has become. Right now, that means we must hit this $2.5 million goal before the FEC deadline hits so we have what it takes to hold Republicans accountable.

If you're reading this e-mail, you probably follow politics pretty closely.
But many Americans have already forgotten Republicans tried to redefine rape last year. Or that they tried to shut down the government over Planned Parenthood. Or that they've voted repeatedly for tax giveaways to billionaires and Big Oil companies.
If we reach our goal, we'll have the resources to hold Republicans accountable for their radical records. If we fall short, Karl Rove's SuperPACs will flood the airwaves with dishonest attacks and there won't be much we can do about it.
Will you stand with us?
