NYC Service and the City Bar Justice Center are recruiting volunteer attorneys for the Legal Services - Foreclosure initiative. The Lawyers' Foreclosure Intervention Network (LFIN) is a project led by the City Bar Justice Center that has been helping New York City residents facing foreclosure since 2008.
The foreclosure crisis has not abated, nor have the challenges homeowners face in trying to keep their homes. Lawyers are needed to represent homeowners in foreclosure settlement conferences and in applying for available loss mitigation options.
Training is provided.
