CUNY ASAP is a successful CEO program that has doubled the three-year graduation rate of participating students from 25 to 55 percent. The program offers a range of academic and financial supports, including cohort-based classes, block-scheduling, and one-on-one advisement, as well as free tuition, books, and MetroCards. Recruitment for the expanded Fall 2012 class is ongoing at all of the City's community colleges.
The CUNY ASAP Follow-up Report provides final three- and four-year outcomes for the fall 2007 ASAP cohort, as well as two-year outcomes for the fall 2009 cohort, and other updates. ASAP is currently involved in a random assignment study led by MDRC, a non-profit social research and policy organization.
