Immigration: Our Voice, Our Stories Art & Cultural Exhibit will portray the human face of the migrant story, those fighting for freedom, human rights and dignity in Arizona, Alabama, and across the country. Migrant Workers, Community Artirst, and Ispiring Dreamers will share their stories, their dreams and culture through their own voice. In collaboration with the National Day Laborers Network (NLODN), the Worker's Justice Project (WJP) will create a cultural space for dialogue, and relationship building between migrant workers and the greater Jackson Heights Community.
Live presentations of an emerging Afro-Ecuadorian band, Chota Madre, An Guatemalan Marimbista, Marina Diaz, and other local artist.
