BRIDGET'S NO BAD APPLE

No Bad Apples PAC

Dear Lucas,

I want to tell you about Bridget Fleming.

As a new member of the Southampton town council in eastern Long Island, Bridget has broken through partisan politics to deliver results, working with her council's Republican majority to win support for commonsense ideas. As a former prosecutor who pursued government fraud cases, she also knows as well as anyone the value of integrity and the need for reform to restore the public's trust in government.

I'm proud to tell you that this morning, our No Bad Apples PAC endorsed Bridget Fleming for State Senate.

From the beginning, the No Bad Apples PAC's mission has been to find reform-minded Democrats who should run for the state Senate. And that's why I was excited when I first met Bridget, and was thrilled to see Bridget announce her candidacy last week. Because Bridget should run.

Bridget has what we all should look for in an elected representative: intelligence, enthusiasm, and unquestionable integrity.

Her energy and her proven ability to bring Democrats and Republicans together make her a force to be reckoned with in this swing district, and she's running to replace an incumbent who has held office for 35 years.

Bridget Fleming is the kind of new leader who will bring a fresh vision to state government and help us finally close the book on the dysfunction and corruption that has plagued Albany for as long as we can remember - and our support is going to jumpstart her campaign.

Right off the bat, we've invested $5,000 in her campaign, and we're already using the No Bad Apples PAC's resources to provide technical support and get her campaign running full steam ahead.

More endorsements are on the way. We've found fantastic candidates across the state, and I'm thrilled to be supporting them, starting with Bridget Fleming and Justin Wagner. They are intelligent, they are dedicated, and they are going to win.
