Lucas,
In less than a month, thousands of people are gathering in Washington, D.C.,
to protest the out-of-control rush to drill that is putting oil and gas
industry profits over our health, our families, our property and our
communities.
Join
us for the Stop the Frack Attack rally on July 28.
Stop the Frack Attack is a coalition of more than 80 groups, including Public
Citizen, that are coming together for four days of action, trainings,
networking and lobbying, all culminating with a rally and march at the
Capitol on Saturday, July 28.
Once you register to attend, you will receive a full schedule of events,
information on transportation and housing options, and other critical
updates.
Fracking has gone from a little-known local issue to a national issue. Now is
the time for all of us to unite and demand that decision-makers inside the
Beltway hear our voices and change the way the oil and gas industry operates
in this country.
Mark Ruffalo, Pete Seeger, Lois Gibbs, Bill McKibben, Ed Begley Jr., Ed
Asner, Josh Fox, Cornel West, James Hansen and Dar Williams will be among the
thousands of people in attendance, demonstrating unity against the negative
consequences of fracking.
Sign
up to be part of the first-ever national fracking action.
The rally is less than a month away, so tell your friends, family, neighbors
and co-workers that you are planning to attend Stop the Frack Attack and
encourage them to join you. This is a chance for the fracking movement to
come together and show its strength.
We hope to see you in D.C. on July 28!
Sincerely,
Allison Fisher
