On Friday, January 6, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will present toys and a proclamation to the Three Kings Day Parade Committee and host a reception to celebrate Three Kings Day. BP Markowitz will also kick off the 15th annual Three Kings Day Parade at Meeker and Graham Avenues in Williamsburg at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8.

Also known as The Epiphany, Three Kings Day (Día de los Tres Reyes Magos) is a Christian celebration that commemorates the Biblical story of the three kings who followed the star of Bethlehem to bring gifts to the Christ child. Traditionally in some parts of the world, Three Kings Day is the gift-giving time, rather than Christmas Day.
