HE'S SICK OF IT!

dccc_logo_nyreblog_com_.jpgLucas --

Republicans have a lot to say when it comes to attacking President Obama's agenda, but are silent when it comes to defending LGBT youth who continue to face discrimination in schools. All too often, the bullying and discrimination ends tragically. Enough is enough.

GOP Majority Leader Eric Cantor hasn't even brought my "Student Non-Discrimination Act" to a vote on the House floor. Meanwhile, right-wing special interests are already campaigning to block this common-sense measure by calling gay Americans "sexual deviants."

I'm not surprised by their reckless actions, but I sure am sick of it. We're just hours away from the critical January Federal Election Commission deadline, the first big reporting deadline of 2012. Help me send an unmistakable message to the Republicans that Democrats will fight back.

Together we can take a stand in defense of LGBT youth and send a clear message to House Republicans that we're fighting back.

Here's what it comes down to: what kind of nation do we want to be? There are vulnerable children across the country right now waiting to see if we will take a stand on their behalf.

I'm asking you to stand up:
