NYC Rules Updates ~ Week Ending February 17, 2012
The following NYC Rules update includes (1) all City agency proposed rules that remain open for written public comment; (2) adopted rules that took effect during the previous week; and (3) adopted rules soon taking effect.

Proposed Rules Open for Written Public Comment
- **Energy Audits and Retrocommissioning (DOB)--Written comments must be submitted by March 23.
- (E) Designations (OER)--Written comments must be submitted by February 29.
- Rules Concerning the Registration of Emergency Generators (DEP)--Written comments must be submitted by February 22.
- Removal and Disposal of Derelict Bicycles (DSNY)--Written comments must be submitted by February 22.
Adopted Rules That Took Effect During the Previous Week
- Amendment of Violation Classifications (Electrical Code)--Rule took effect February 12.
- ** Schedule of Charges for Fire Department Ambulance Transport Service (FDNY)--Rule takes effect March 17.
- Stretched Vehicles (TLC)--Rule takes effect March 2.
- ECB's Buildings Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect March 2.
- ECB's Fire Penalty Schedule (OATH/ECB)--Rule takes effect March 2.
- Safety Code Governing Elevators Without Machine Rooms (DOB)--Rule takes effect February 24.
